Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns of unused products within 14 days after the day your items are delivered. To request a return, please email us at info@gabvinyls.co.uk within this timeframe.
Returns must be pre-approved by our customer service team. Unauthorised returns will be returned back to you.


Who pays for the return postage?

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage during transit, so we strongly recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.
Refunds for products (excluding original delivery cost) will be issued within 14 working days of receiving the returned goods.


I've placed multiple orders – can these be shipped together?

If your orders haven't yet been packed, we’re happy to combine them. Please message us via our Facebook page as soon as possible to request this.


Can I ship to a different address after placing my order?

Yes – if your order hasn’t yet been dispatched. Please contact us quickly via email or Facebook and we’ll update the delivery address for you.


Can I add more items to my order?

Yes – if your order hasn’t already been dispatched. Simply place another order and select "Add to Order" as the shipping method at checkout.

Please note:

  • This option is only valid before you receive a dispatch confirmation email.

  • If extra postage is required due to increased weight, we will send you an invoice. Your full order will be dispatched once payment is received.


I’ve paid via PayPal eCheque – what happens now?

If you paid using a PayPal eCheque, your order will be placed on hold until the payment clears. You'll receive an email from us with the estimated clearance date provided by PayPal.

Once cleared, we will change your order status to "Pending" and dispatch your order according to our standard shipping timeframes.


Can you dispatch the order without the eCheque clearing?

No, we cannot dispatch any orders until full payment has been received. This is in line with PayPal’s recommended policy as eCheques can be declined.


Can you cancel the eCheque so I can reorder?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel an eCheque once it has been initiated. If you wish to receive your items sooner, you may place a new order using a different payment method. Once the eCheque clears, we can refund the original order if it is no longer needed.


What happens if I’m not home when delivery is attempted?

If no one is available to accept delivery, the courier will leave a note with instructions for re-delivery or collection. You’ll have 14 days before the parcel is returned to us.

We do not resend undelivered parcels. Refunds will be issued for the product value only, minus:

  • The original shipping cost, and

  • Any return-to-sender fees charged by the courier (e.g. £19 by DPD for failed deliveries or refusals).


Can I refuse delivery?

Yes, however:

  • If the parcel is not returned to us, you may be held liable for the full cost of the order.

  • Refunds are only issued once the goods are returned to us in their original condition.

  • Any courier return fees (e.g. £19 via DPD) and your original postage cost will be deducted from your refund.


What if my delivery address is wrong?

Please notify us immediately if you've entered an incorrect address. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can update it for you.

If the order has already been dispatched:

  • We are not liable for orders sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • If the order is returned to us, you’ll be refunded for the products only, minus any return fees and original postage.

  • If the parcel is not returned, we cannot issue a refund.
